Today Jace and I worked on conditioning with a pool noodle sword fight and I promise you he worked harder than he would running laps.

Some days I walk in feeling strong

Other days I walk in carrying the weight of everything.
This season of life has been a mix of really good days and really hard ones. But one thing I’m grateful for is having a place where I can walk in, press play on some music, take a breath
 and have a much-needed conversation with God.

No crowd.
No filters.
Just honesty.

Because when I’m feeling low, that’s where I’m reminded that I’m not doing this alone. God meets me right there in the quiet moments and gives me the strength to keep going.

Coordination > Just “Being Athletic”
Today we worked on coordination with my 8-year-old athlete — and this is BIG for long-term development.
At this age, it’s not about lifting heavy.
It’s not about running until they’re exhausted.
It’s about teaching the brain and body how to work together.
Coordination training helps:
✅ Improve balance
✅ Increase body awareness (proprioception)
✅ Build confidence
✅ Reduce injury risk
✅ Lay the foundation for speed & strength later
When kids struggle with coordination, it’s not a lack of effort — it’s a skill that needs to be trained.
The goal?
Create athletes who move well first
 so performance comes naturally later.
