Our Greensboro and Burlington offices of LeBauer Allergy & Asthma will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

For our patients on allergy shots our upcoming shot clinic hours will be:

Burlington:
7/1 Tuesday 8:30-5:00pm
7/3 Thursday 8:30am- 5:00pm
7/4 Friday- CLOSED
7/7 Monday- CLOSED
7/8 Tuesday 8:30am- 5:00pm
*Burlington office closes for lunch from 12:30pm-1:45pm

Greensboro:
6/30 Monday 8:30am-5:00pm

As a reminder for our Shot Clinic patients, our Greensboro Shot Clinic will begin closing at 7:00pm on Wednesdays effective June 4, 2025

New Shot Clinic Hours for Greensboro Office:

Monday – 8:30am to 5:00pm (stop giving shots at 4:50pm) Tuesday – 8:30am to 6:00pm (stop giving shots at 5:50pm) Wednesday - 8:30am to 7:00pm (stop giving shots at 6:50pm) Thursday – 8:30am to 6:00pm (stop giving shots at 5:50pm) Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm (stop giving shots at 4:50pm)

On Thursday, May 1st both offices of LeBauer Allergy & Asthma will implement a new telephone system that will allow callers to connect directly to the most appropriate staff members. To give you an idea of what to expect, you will now have the following options from which to select and you can select them at anytime during the message:

Press 1 for our walk-in shot clinics
Press 2 for our patient billing and insurance office
Press 3 for prescription refills, medical forms, and non-urgent
questions for your doctor nurse team
Press 4 to schedule appointments or to reach our front office
Press 5 for our finance and executive office
Press 6 for information about our practice

Holiday Hours

This week both our Greensboro and Burlington offices will be closed on Friday, April 18th in observance of the Easter holiday. Our allergy shot patients can plan to come on one of our other open days.

Greensboro Office:
Monday 8:30-5:00
Tuesday or Thursday 8:30-6:00
Wednesday 8:30-7:30

Burlington Office:
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-5:00 (closed 12:30-1:45)

Our allergy shot clinic positions generally work Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00, with an extended shift on either Tuesday/Thursday till 6:00 or a Wednesday shift from 11:30 till 7:00.

Remembering Dr. Meg Whelan

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Dr. Meg Whelan. Dr. Whelan passed away on March 13, 2025.

Dr. Whelan joined LeBauer Allergy & Asthma almost 20 years ago, making this community her home and dedicating her medical practice to caring for her patients. She was Board Certified in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology as well as Board Certified in Pediatrics. She immediately became a trusted practitioner in our medical community and her patients loved her dearly. Patients knew she cared and was tenaciously committed to finding answers and helping them through their healthcare journey. She was a physician leader to our staff, deeply loyal, and always available to listen and to share a hug. She was a mentor to our newest provider, Brislyn Saylor, PA-C. And, to Dr. Ranjan Sharma, Dr. Chris Van Winkle, and Dr. Eugene LeBauer (ret.) she was not only a friend, but she was also a sharp-witted business partner, fiercely dedicated to providing quality healthcare with exceptional service to meet the needs of our patients.

It has been an honor to work with and know Dr. Whelan and she will be missed by all of us at LeBauer Allergy & Asthma. We understand that this news may be difficult, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you in any way and make sure you continue to get the care you need.

Both offices, Greensboro and Burlington, are open today for appointments and walk-in allergy shots!

Our Greensboro allergy shot walk-in clinic will close at 5:00pm instead of 6:00pm today due to the expected road conditions. Burlington will close at 5:00 as normal.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to close to receive your allergy therapy.

Our office will be closing at 1:15 today, Wednesday, 2/19/2025 due to weather conditions.

We will be opening on a delayed schedule at 10:00 am on Thursday, 2/20/2025.

Winter weather is expected in our area on Wednesday and possibly on Thursday. At this time our Greensboro office will plan to be open tomorrow, with the likelihood of closing early.

We are recommending our allergy shot patients come today or early Wednesday morning for their allergy shots.

Allergy Season Ahead..... Are You Ready?

We want to send a friendly reminder to our patients that Spring is near! Now is the time to schedule your routine follow up appointment.

If you are experiencing new allergy related symptoms, find that your symptoms worsen during the Spring, or may need refills on your allergy medications soon, please make sure you have been seen by our office within the last year.

If you are interested in re-starting your immunotherapy injections and have not visited our shot clinic in over two months we will need to review your records and determine if you need more serum made prior to coming in for injections. Serum may take up to three weeks to prepare.

If you are a new patient or interested in allergy testing, we would be glad to help! Please plan ahead as we are schedule 3-4 weeks out.

Please call our office at (336)282-2300 or (336) 227-1901 to schedule an appointment or to let our staff know if you you would like your records reviews in order to re-start your immunotherapy injections.

We are opening at 10:00am in our Burlington and Greensboro offices on Wednesday, 1/22/2025 due to inclement weather.

Due to the expected winter weather, both our Burlington and Greensboro offices of LeBauer Allergy & Asthma will be closing early on Friday, 1/10/2025. If you are one of our allergy walk-in shot clinic patients, please plan on coming in early. We anticipate closing around lunchtime and will make a final decision based on conditions on Friday. If you have any questions, please call our office at 336-282-2300.
