To my eyes, THIS... IS A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT!
A single drop of blood. It may be small, but it is mighty. One drop can tell your life story... and possibly allow you to save someone else's.
The oxygen we need to live uses our red blood cells as delivery trucks to our body.
Each red cell only lives 120 days before it is retired and replaced.
Each unit of blood donated is expired at 120 days because there are no new cells and the only replacement is a new, fresh unit of generously donated blood.
Are you 18 years old? Are you in good health? Do you weigh at least 110 lbs? If you answered "yes" to all of these, you may be an excellent candidate for blood donation, and YOU could very well save someone's life!!
Get tested and donate. It's as easy as A, AB, B, and O. The American Red Cross, and OneBlood, along with their Phlebotomists and Lab Specialists, are experts at blood-math... so you don't have to be.
Please feel free to share my post!!
