This is no April Fool’s joke—Lina Moore has been chosen as our Employee of the Month for April, and she has earned it in every way. As one of our Full-Time nurses, Lina has been nothing short of incredible. She steps in wherever she is needed, not only here at our center but also at our sister facilities, always bringing
the same level of professionalism, compassion, and reliability.

Lina is known for her “bad habit” of never saying no—and while we tease her about it, it truly speaks to her generous spirit and unwavering commitment to her team and her residents. Whether she is filling a shift, taking on a new role, or supporting a coworker without hesitation, Lina shows up with a positive attitude
and a willingness to help.

Her flexibility, dedication, and can-do mindset make her an invaluable part of our community. This month, we are proud to shine a spotlight on everything she does and celebrate the difference she makes every day.

Meet Sherry Ballard, one of our amazing residents and our newly elected "Resident Council President". Sherry was born on November 29, 1971, in Winston Salem and later grew up in Kernersville, NC. Sherry grew to have a love for reading, horseback riding, bowling, and shopping. Sherry graduated from East Forsyth High School in 1990. Shortly after graduating, she welcomed a bundle of joy in 1991, her one and only son, Joshua. After taking a year to take care of her son, Sherry returned to school to achieve a college degree. Sherry has made some exceptional achievements during her journey, such as being a Captain Firefighter for Colfax Fire Department, and she later worked as a CNA & LPN until working her way to becoming a registered nurse for Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Throughout Sherry's life, she grew to have a love for cooking, family, and traveling. Sherry Ballard is a victorious woman, and she states reflecting back that if she could tell our young generation anything, it would be to listen to your parents.
