I have decided that in this life that God has given me, I am going to be a part of the world that helps people HEAL. I’ve grown frustrated and saddened by all of the “ugly” that I see in this world — meanness, spitefulness, “pettiness” — toward others … it’s particularly disturbing when I see adults subject young people — children, kids, teens, even young adults — to their “ugliness”. That is one of my “why’s” … why I do what I do … I want to help people HEAL from the venom and the “ugliness” that others have subjected and exposed them to. I want to help people understand their VALUE and realize their feelings and their thoughts do MATTER, even if the behaviors of others suggests different. I am thankful and honored that I have the opportunity to help people who are hurting, confused, afraid, and the like in this world. I am appreciative of the people who have entrusted me to serve them in some of their most vulnerable and helpless moments, and it is my prayer that I have been a part of their healing, and that I am able to help people for as long as I have breath in my body!
