Trauma can impact the mind and body. Sometimes trauma can cause your body to tighten up, your mind to race, and even a deep feeling that you just need to protect yourself. For those around you, this may cause them to feel worried about you or even become distant.

Due to the varying forms of trauma, there are ample ways that it can show up.

Symptoms of trauma:
Negative internal voice.
Problems sleeping.
Bad memories of past events.
Ongoing sadness.

Trauma is one of those things that can weigh on you like nothing else. It can lead you to feel disconnected from yourself and others.
