We were set to adopt a little boy from a young mother who had recently l
oss her companion, however right after announcing the good news and sharing the ultrasound pictures with our friends and family, Maria received a text.... the text was heartbreaking, the young lady simply said I have decided to keep my child. We had already bought many items needed to welcome a child to our home. We had spent a lot of time not to mention the money we already had given this young lady once we all agreed we were a good fit. When we received the text it was like having our hopes and dreams ripped away, we mourned the loss of our child as we felt we had a miscarriage and were suffering from this loss. After that disappointment we quietly grieved, and tried to start the process over, We hit many brick walls so to speak, some due to financial situation, length of time in marriage, previous marriage, etc... We never gave up we have constantly been searching on how to have a child to love and cherish. This is a chance to have a child of our own, (as close to ours as possible as we are unable to have children of our own) to allow Maria to carry our child (this is still an adoption, just a different type), to allow both of us that experience. Jay is Law Enforcement by nature (in process of getting back with an agency now that we are back in Florida.) Currently he is maintenance at the local casino. Jay is the oldest of 3 children, he comes from a large family of cousins also that all try to stay a close knit family. Maria is a Sales Assistant for local sales team at a local news station. She is the youngest of 3 children, comes from a very small family. This money will help us go through the fertility clinic and procedures to implant an embryo in to Maria's womb. each time this is done it can cost $6000 plus the medicine to prepare Maria's body for the process, medical expenses leading up to and travel. We are asking to help fund 2 chances to have our dreams of a family come true. We would like to start the procedure as soon as possible as Maria has already begun testing and dr. visits. We would like to welcome a little bundle of joy to our lives as soon as we can. Any and all help in this path for us will be gratefully appreciated , prayers and blessings are always welcome.
