💛 Important Update from The Black Belt Soap Company 💛
We have some heartfelt news to share with you. After much reflection, we’ve decided NOT to renew our store lease and will be taking a TOTAL 1-year break from The Black Belt Soap Company starting this winter.

Our last day at the store will be Friday, December 20, 2025.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for us at this time as we prepare for a new season of life, travel, and creative inspiration.

Between now and then, we want to give you the opportunity to stock up on your favorite soaps.
We are now accepting custom soap loaf orders — each loaf yields 18 bars and can be made in your favorite scents.

Order deadline: Sunday, September 1, 2025
Pickup deadline: Friday, December 20, 2025 (last day at the store)
If you’d like to place your order or learn more about our custom options, please reply to this post or message us directly.

We want to sincerely thank you for the love, support, and community you’ve shown over the years. Whether you’ve visited our store, shopped online, or shared our products with friends, you’ve been a part of our story — and we are so deeply grateful.

We feel truly honored to welcome such incredible souls into our store! A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Calisha Petty for adding us to your family reunion’s “Things to Do in Greensboro” list—it meant so much!

We were especially happy to welcome Ms. Christine Grant of Dayton, Ohio, who’s nearing 91 years old. She shared a touching story about her late boyfriend who lived to be 107 years old!

We also had the pleasure of meeting her brilliant great-niece, Adrianne Jones, a dedicated gerontologist doing fascinating research on centenarians. We truly appreciate you all!💕
