As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we serve patients with or without insurance and connect families to the resources they need to thrive. (TAPM), is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center. TAPM is a non-profit healthcare provider serving Guilford County and the surrounding area. TAPM is one of the largest providers of healthcare services for adults and children in Guilford County, In Greensboro, TAPM has one pediatric medical site, and two family medicine sites. In High Point, TAPM has 2 family medicine sites. (TAPM) provides an integrated care medical home. A medical home is a doctor’s office where the staff knows their patients, their children and the families. As a medical home TAPM knows a patient’s health history. TAPM is a place where patients can come for check-ups, sick care, immunizations and special health care needs. (TAPM) is accepting new patients at all practices. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, private insurances and offer a sliding scale fee. We service patients regardless of their ability to pay.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all TAPM locations are closed today, January 19.

Today, we pause to honor Dr. King’s legacy, reflect on his message, and recommit ourselves to compassion, service, and care for one another and our community. We will resume normal operations tomorrow.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a time to remind women that early screening can save lives. Regular Pap tests and HPV screenings help detect changes early, often before cancer develops.

Closing out 2025 with a Wendover renovation update!

Phase 1 of renovations at Pediatrics at Wendover is nearly complete. Cabinets and flooring are in, final touches are underway, and we’re preparing to begin Phase 2 on the opposite side of the building. Soon, services will transition into this newly renovated space as work continues on the remaining areas.

Next up: furniture and continued improvements designed to enhance the care environment for our patients, families, and staff. Thank you for your continued patience and support as this exciting transformation moves forward!

What a way to close out the year. 💜

Last Friday, staff from across all TAPM sites came together for our 90s-themed End of Year Celebration, and the energy and creativity were on full display. From 90s candy and classic games to dancing to throwback hits, our team truly showed out.

We loved seeing staff lean into the theme, share photos from the 90s, and celebrate milestone anniversaries together. Most of all, it was a chance to pause, connect, and enjoy time with one another. Thank you to everyone who helped make the celebration so special!

We welcomed NCCHCA staff and board members, health center CEOs, NC Department of Health and Human Services leaders, and Holly Wall, Deputy Chief of Staff for Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), for a meaningful day of discussion, collaboration, and shared commitment to strengthening community health across our state.
