Boundaries feel uncomfortable before they feel empowering.

Not because they’re wrong.
But because they’re new.

If you’re used to being:
• The reliable one
• The accommodating one
• The strong one
• The “it’s fine, I’ll handle it” one

Then saying no can feel like guilt.
Delegating can feel selfish.
Creating space can feel like rejection.
But discomfort doesn’t mean misalignment.

It means your nervous system is adjusting to a new pattern.

Healthy boundaries often trigger:
• Anxiety before relief
• Doubt before clarity
• Pushback before respect

That doesn’t mean you should abandon them.
It means you’re growing.

Random Acts of Kindness Day is a great reminder — but kindness isn’t just about being “nice.”

Kindness is a nervous system practice.
When we offer it (and receive it), our body gets the message: *I’m safe. I’m supported. I’m not alone.

Try one act of kindness today:

• Send a kind text
• Do a small favor
• Give a sincere compliment
• Keep a boundary you’ve been avoiding
• Speak to yourself with gentleness

And one important reminder:
If your “kindness” is costing you your peace, energy, or self-respect… that isn’t kindness. That’s self-abandonment.
