I'm so proud of the entire team around me, as well as, all those at the Decatur County Community Foundation and so many more that have been there to support us.

Dreams becoming a reality? That's exciting, right? BUT what is even better is that those needing care will be able to get it.

Mental health concerns are real. As a community, Decatur County has wrapped their arms around ending the stigma and providing resources.

If you need help and meet the qualifications, please come see us Community Healthcare Clinic of Decatur County this Monday. April 6th as we launch our mental health services.

I can't say thank you enough to those that support and go on the crazy ride of my dreams, but I sure appreciate each and everyone of you! ♥️

Berkley may look like he is being tortured, but I promise he loves his Christmas PJs!

I was gifted one of the best Christmas gifts ever this year. I was given a simple white envelope with a Christmas card/magnet inside of this patients family. As have most people, this patient has had trials; we've been through several together. As she gave me the envelope, she simply said this is your reminder you do make a difference and dreams do come true. In that moment, I was reminded why I do what I do. Thank you all for trusting me to be a part of your life ❤️

I hope you all take time the holiday season to slow down, enjoy your family and friends, and don't forget about the tasty treats.

Life certainly throws its challenges to all of us, but with family and friends to offer support in those times of need is simply the greatest blessing.

Over the past month, I've needed a little extra from everyone: family, friends, and my patients! I've needed grace and understanding...that is just what I have gotten from everyone. ❤️

I'm back in the saddle and ready to see everyone again! Thank you to everyone who has offered thoughts, prayers, and good vibes, they all worked.

I simply couldn't do all that I do from healthcare to radio without this tribe that backs me up daily. Grateful is my word. Simply grateful.

Wow! 🤩
So excited to see this installed and the clinic come together!

We had several last minute "super heroes" step in at the last minute to help guide us, 🙏!

We have a few finishing touches and then it's time for an open house!

Thank you will never be enough for all the support we have received with this project.

I wish I had words to sincerely express my gratitude for this grant, but I just don't.

The board has allowed us to dream and pursue those dreams, so appreciated.

Felicia Wickey has been by my side since we started this journey. I sincerely could not do this without her. She keeps me on my toes and inline, I need that.

Since we took these positions 3 years ago, we have dreamt of ways we could continue to grow and provide affordable care for those that are uninsured or underinsured. We have worked hard to bring awareness to the Community Healthcare Clinic by fundraising, advertising, speaking engagements, and most of all word of mouth. We strive to provide safe, quality care to our patients while also making them feel like family.

We are very excited to announce that we have been awarded money from the Decatur County Community Foundation to grow the services we offer. This is something we have looked forward to for some time! We were awarded $250,000 for 3 years to expand services by offering mental health coverage ( after the 3 years we will have a sustainability plan in place). We look forward to expanding our foot print, providers, and services as this dream comes to fruition. We anticipate late 2025 having our construction complete and being fully operational.

Mental health can come with a stigma, we hope that we can start destroying the stigma and get everyone the help they need.
As a community, we have wrapped our arms around the idea of expanding and supporting mental health. This grant improves the care our patients currently receive by expanding services to include mental health, allowing patients to get the help that they need and deserve regardless of their ability to pay.
