......🦠WESTMORELAND AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES..🦠.....REGARDING THE PURPOSE OF CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT DURING THIS CRISIS........BOTH OF OUR CLINICS WILL REMAIN OPEN........As we ALL KNOW we are facing and unparalleled time of crisis in our lives, our country and around the world. .... The posture of Chiropractic, recognized by almost 100% of Governmental authorities ,regarding health care and safety concerns is as follows:
1)..Our profession has been deemed Essential in helping to reduce the amount of Emergency room visits, hospitalizations, Medical Doctors offices, and express Medical facilities so as they can focus on this Corona virus 🦠
2) as the Media and Our Government has declared there is a Crisis in our Hospital beds, emergency rooms and Medical care facilities at this time.
3) One of the number 1 # reasons for adult Emergency room visits is Musculoskeletal pain, And that includes back and neck pain, along with headaches, hip , knee shoulder and joint pain..etc.
4) To lighten the load on those Medical facilities and Hospitals ...We are well equipped and educated in dealing with those problems and issues of acute pain and dysfunction.
5)... It’s become increasingly
noted that the use of NASAIDS may be more harmful if used during this virus with reports that it may decrease your body’s immunity. Its important to keep your body functioning well to support your immune system by decreasing pain and anxiety thus helping to assist your body’s immune function.
6) We are using all precautions and guidelines set forth by the CDC and Governmental agencies to insure the safety of our patients, staff and Doctors.
7) For the convenience and safety of our patients we have instituted a policy whereas our patients, if they chose, can call and remain in their car until their appointment. At which time ,when the Doctor is ready and the room is disinfected , we call the patient to come in.. there is minimal social contact...and Especially less than a grocery store!!!.....YOUR SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS OUR MAIN CONCERN....... ANXIETY IS KNOWN TO INCREASE PAIN, AND PAIN IS KNOWN TO INCREASE ANXIETY.... Thus deceasing the BODYS IMMUNE RESPONSE!!.......Please note: My background in The Medical field provides me with the knowledge if I deem a Medical referral is needed for you. ... IN CLOSING..... STAND GUARD OF YOUR MIND DURING THESE TIMES OF CRISIS.!!!!!.... THIS VIRUS WILL PASS AS DID ALL OTHERS !!.... AMERICA, you ,and your family WILL SURVIVE THIS!!... Think about this, last year approximately 60,000 died in our country alone due to the influenza virus 🦠..... yet those of you reading this ALL SURVIVED!!.... be mindful and aware of the ACTUAL FACTS that are being shared with us. .... EVERYONE OF US.. I’m sure is Praying 🙏 for a quick resolution and safety for our families, friends, businesses, community and the world 🌎!!... MAY GOD BLESS and be with each and everyone of you!!
