The Candid Carnivore - Low-Carb Real Food Coach Healing and weight loss can be a long and lonely, winding road – but the right navigator can get you there safely! I’ve been there! I can help with that!

I'm a certified carnivore coach and certified Human Intestinal Microbiome (gut health) Specialist. I help people all over the world overcome health issues and eating disorders, and optimize weight using awhole food, low-carb, meat-based diet. Healing and weight loss can be a long, lonely, winding road, but the right navigator can get you there safely! Having a lifelong struggle with food, diet, and health in general can make you feel stuck. I want to share what I have learned so you don’t need to spend any more time trying to find what works best for you. My approach is to individualize your mission for health. Some people can flip a switch to change their habits, while others may need a more deliberate and tailored approach to transition. Maybe you have been a carnivore, ketovore, or keto, but still have some challenges to overcome. Together, we will celebrate every win and learn from every challenge. Worried that a meat-based diet will be too boring – I got you! Need motivation? A gentle nudge? A kick in the behind? A good laugh? Ideas on how to stress less? Tips on how to re-frame your thinking? Whatever you need to be successful in your mission – we will do that as a team. So, how did I get to this carnivore lifestyle? I had an unhealthy relationship with food from early childhood. Binging and eating in general was an obsession – one I could not control. At my heaviest, I was around 240 lbs. At the opposite end of the spectrum, I became anorexic after my first child was born. After my second child, I was bulimic. Calorie restriction, Weight Watchers, SlimFast shakes, multi-level marketing supplements, prescription weight loss drugs, and so many failed fad diets. Personally, I have tried so many things to try to lose weight, but what I didn’t realize was that first I needed to heal! I began to understand that food must play a big role in our health. But it wasn’t until I became a carnivore in January of 2021 that I learned firsthand just how true that is. I started in 2013 with gluten-free, then paleo/whole foods 2014, low-carb 2016, keto 2017, keto-carnivore (ketovore) 2019, and finally CARNIVORE in 2021! I naturally intermittent fast and occasionally do an extended fast with ease for added benefits. Fasting can be a great tool, but it is not necessary! So far, I have had improvements in symptoms of Hashimoto’s and PCOS

Brain fog and confusion are gone (it had been so bad I feared that I was developing Alzheimer’s at the age of 42)

Cognitive ability greatly improved

Hirsutism greatly improved

Hair loss has stopped and new hair is growing

Binge eating disorder is gone

Carb and sugar addiction is in remission

Anxiety is greatly reduced – depression is gone

Moods are stable

Sleep is great

Energy is increased

Confidence is up

I feel strong

My gums no longer bleed when brushing my teeth

…and so many more benefits – I truly feel incredible! I feel in my 50s the way I should have felt in my 20s, but didn’t.

My 30 days of real-talk are done, and man, that felt good!
But it comes from a place of love. And decades of experience.

🥗 If you have to “cheat” to feel normal again, your need to reconsider what normal means.

🥩 You don’t cheat on a diet made of steak, eggs, and butter. You look forward to every meal.

You don’t need more flexibility. You need more TRUTH.

“Cheating” is your addiction trying to claw you back into the mire of chronic illness.

When you’re in the throes of carb addiction, a cheat meal turns into a cheat day, then a cheat weekend, then a cheat week, and a cheat season.

“Everything in moderation” is the lie that keeps people addicted, inflamed, and medicated.

🚬 Would you tell a smoker to “have one cigarette a day” to moderate ni****ne?
🍩 How about one donut per meal for “balance”?
🥩 You don’t moderate poison. You eliminate it.

Want freedom? Go all in. Burn the escape hatch.

It’s ok to make the change gradually as long as you are actively moving toward eliminating ultra-processed food.

The healing you want isn’t found in continued moderation. It’s found in radical real food.
