There’s something deeply comforting about seeing the same friendly faces each day.

A smile you recognize.
A voice you trust.
Someone who already knows how you like your morning to start.

Familiarity builds comfort, and comfort builds calm. It’s one of the quiet things that makes each day feel a little easier.

Our Memory Care approach is built around dignity, patience, and understanding what helps each individual feel most at home.

Families are always welcome to ask questions, visit, and learn more. You’re never navigating this alone.

Love looks different at every stage of life.

Sometimes it’s a shared smile across the table.
Sometimes it’s a familiar voice checking in.
Sometimes it’s simply knowing someone is always nearby.

Friendships, kindness, and a sense of belonging help make each day feel warmer and more meaningful.

Because feeling loved never gets old. 💌

Dreaming of spring days in our garden. 🌸🌿

Right now winter has its hold, but it’s hard not to imagine warmer afternoons on the patio. Fresh air, sunshine, and quiet moments spent outdoors feel closer every day.

Our residents can’t wait, and neither can we. Spring will be here before we know it.

February is American Heart Month, a reminder of how important heart health is at every stage of life.

Supporting heart health goes beyond medical care. It’s about encouraging gentle movement, providing balanced meals, reducing stress, and creating an environment where residents feel calm, supported, and connected.

Small daily habits, paired with compassionate care, can make a meaningful difference in overall wellbeing.

Because caring for the heart also means caring for the whole person.

Everyday routines, handled in-house! 💇

Being able to sit down for a haircut or style without leaving the building keeps routines simple and familiar. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a noticeable difference in daily life.

Having this kind of space on-site makes everyday routines easier, more comfortable, and uninterrupted.

February is Senior Independence Month, a time to recognise the importance of choice, dignity, and autonomy at every age.

Here at Mountain View, independence means supporting residents in living life their way. From maintaining daily routines to making personal choices and staying engaged, our role is to provide support without taking away individuality.

Independence doesn’t disappear with age. It simply looks different, and it deserves to be respected.

What sets Mountain View Memory Care apart is how deeply we believe in supporting not just residents, but the people who love them.

Our Alzheimer’s Support Group, held on the second Tuesday of each month, reflects that commitment by creating space for education, honest conversation, and real connection.

Led by Sonya Maskrey, whose background in Biology, Physical Therapy, and geriatric dementia care brings both clinical expertise and lived understanding, this group goes beyond information.

It offers guidance grounded in experience, compassion for the emotional challenges families face, and a community where caregivers don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

We believe meaningful care includes listening, educating, and walking alongside families, not just providing a place to live, but a place to feel supported every step of the way.

A place to belong means putting your loved ones first, always.

At Mountain View Senior Living, we’re committed to creating a home-like community where residents feel supported, respected, and truly cared for.

From personalized levels of care to thoughtfully designed spaces, everything we do is centered on comfort, dignity, and connection.

Belonging is found in familiar routines, compassionate caregivers, and a team trained to meet residents where they are, with the right care at the right time.

It’s in shared meals, welcoming common spaces, and the peace of mind families feel knowing their loved one is supported every day.

Because senior living should be more than a place to stay. It should be a place to belong.

We’re grateful for kind words like these and for the trust families place in our team. 💛

It’s about feeling comfortable, supported, and at home in the spaces you move through every day.

At Mountain View, our community is thoughtfully designed for living, with environments that encourage connection, ease, and a sense of belonging.

One of the most common questions we get is, “How do I know if my loved one is showing early signs of Alzheimer’s disease?”

The Alzheimer’s Association has identified ten warning signs that may indicate the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.

If you notice three or more of these signs in yourself or a loved one, it’s important to speak with a primary care doctor.

Early conversations and evaluations can help families better understand what’s happening and plan next steps with care and clarity.
