Here is a scene off the top of my head.
5 youth, likely related, jostle as they rush up to the older youth, ‘shoe shines’; starting their day early and still being late.
The camera shoots level to the concrete, hearing the scuff off the period shoes and voices whose accents no longer exists.
[Here there is the dialogue and interaction between the boys.]
A man exists the courthouse as the camera reveals the scene; making light of the shoeshines and making fun of our boys’ bootblack.
The older boy tells ‘Patsy’ to go to the side and play with his marbles. Pat was always trying to get a chance and be helpful. The Daddy Warbuck looking man is boastful, loud, and egotistical.
The man spits. It hits Patsy’s marble. Pat knows what happened and trys to avoid the phlem and carefully uses a handkerchief and places the marble in hs pocket.
The next scene (now back in his Gbg period home) Patsy is coughing blood from TB, just received Last Rites and being driven by a stranger (at age 4) to a sanitarium in Cresson.

Right now im a pssager as Mary drives. She gets headaches. Anyway, the angles, sounds, woredrobe, voice, and then local kids! I like the ‘group’ concept to this project!
I spoke to a Pgh guru of film making. He gave me 4 things to do. Ive already done 3 but im going to have to be all i am to hopefully get funding. Keep offering your help and ideas.
Many have written me privately in support. Thank you! Feel free to brainstorm here! If you figured me out at all i just like to be nice and do meaningful things. I do have a very well developed processing, love peace, and ive seen a lot. That mix! A colleague told me, and I’ll recommend it to you: ‘Flip the Script’. Meaning, ‘you just do it’.
If you would like a challange:
1. Where and what would be the 5 best scenes for a Dr. Spino proof of concept film?
2. What would be your number one POC scene?
Thank you!
