It is that time of year again: Back to School!

As everyone is getting back into the swing of things, it is still important to remember of the most fundamental lessons we learn at an early age: Hand-washing!

Keeping hands clean is one of the most important ways staff and students can stay healthy during the school day.

The CDC recommends washing hands with soap and water because hand-washing effectively removes germs, dirt, and chemicals from hands. If soap and water are not readily available, using a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol can help staff and children avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others (It is recommended to supervise young children under the age of 6 years, or children with certain disabilities, when they use hand sanitizer to prevent swallowing it or getting it in their eyes.)
