One of the most heartwarming parts of being a therapist is witnessing a client show up in their most vulnerable places—and choose to sit with the feelings they once ran from. Choosing connection over isolation. Staying in (healthy) relationships instead of letting trauma call the shots. Learning that safety doesn’t require hyper-independence. Giving their inner child space to be heard instead of silenced. Building a sense of safety both within themselves and in their relationships.
I always say: telling your story is the easier part of trauma work (even though it’s still hard). The real work is in breaking cycles, shifting patterns, and creating new responses—teaching your brain that it’s safe now.
Grateful beyond words to do this work 🤍✨
