As my pregnancy progresses I will be accepting a limited number of new patients through the end of August. In September, all appointment times will be reserved for existing patients only. In January 2025 I will begin accepting new/preexisting patients with limited hours!

Acupuncture Point of the Week: the extra point Yintang!!

This point is located between the eyebrows and although it may look intimidating, it is so relaxing!

Yintang, also known as the third eye point, is used to calm the mind, especially in cases of insomnia and anxiety. It can also be used to treat frontal headaches and is amazing at relieving congestion, sinus pain, and runny noses.

Struggling with muscle pain or tension? Cupping is a supplemental modality that is aimed at creating a temporary congestion (see picture below) in order promote blood flow and circulation to the local area. Patients love this at the end of an acupuncture treatment!
