For years, I believed the stories Iād heard in plant-based research studies, Netflix documentaries, and other peopleās testimonials:
ā”ļø Eat as many plants as you want and youāll lose weight.
ā”ļø Load up on raw veggies, beans, sweet potatoes, and youāll always feel energized.
And at first, that worked for me. My skin cleared, my numbers looked amazing at annual checkups, and I had energy. AND over time I started training harder, lifting heavier, and building my yoga + coaching business, something shifted.
I was hungry all the time.
I was running 15ā18 miles a week just to maintain my weight.
And I still had no idea what my body really needed in terms of protein, carbs, fats, or calories.
I thought āeating cleanā was enough. But what I was missing was balance.
I resisted tracking macros for so long (counting sounded overwhelming š
āāļø)⦠until I finally put up the white flag and gave it a try with the support of a holistic nutrition coach.

š I stopped overeating out of frustration and finally understood why my body craved what it did.
š I felt mental clarity and energy I hadnāt experienced in years.
š I didnāt feel ravenously hungry after workouts because I was actually fueling my body with the right balance.

For the first time, I felt like I could sustain my nutrition, my workouts, my energy ā for life.
