There are lots of new faces here lately so it is time for an introduction

You’ll often find me teaching cozy laid back yoga classes with our 4.5 month old not because I have to be, but because my nervous system craves that quiet space in union with her.

I also love starting my day with ceremonial cacao in hand, crystals nearby, journaling, breathing, grounding before the day begins (all in Ariels time of course)

I’m married to the sweetest man Ronnie Massie Jr. the kind of partner who once had a song written about us for my birthdayon song finch and still makes me feel loved and supported in all the ways that matter 🥹
We have 3 beautiful children and a
Our son Malachi — born naturally and raised intuitively & has been my greatest teacher in slowing down and listening to my body.
And our baby girl Ariel 🤍
She was born at home and motherhood to a daughter has softened me in ways I didn’t know were possible. This season is slower, deeper, more embodied and honestly, more grounded than ever. And finally our oldest is now 17 & my bounse son that is the best essential oil roller assembler this side of the Mississippi.

Movement is still a huge part of my life.
Strength training and yoga are my anchors for hormone balance, energy, and mental clarity especially as a mom post partum.
I’ve led Reiki attunements in my living room, held sacred spaces during uncertain times, and watched women reconnect to their intuition, energy, and sense of self sometimes for the first time in their lives.
Those moments still light me up. Every. Single. Time.
I believe deeply that healing is not something we outsource
it’s something we remember with a supportive guide.
Through presence.
Through intention.
Through listening to the body and honoring its wisdom.

Farm girls are wired differently.

A lot of people assume I love being on social media.
Truth?
It’s never been my natural operating system.
I’m a farm girl. Head down. Hands busy. Quiet work behind the scenes.
I didn’t start sharing online because I wanted attention I started sharing because I realized my voice mattered even if it felt uncomfortable.
Social media became a tool for freedom, not validation.

How to lose weight even if you grew up an emotional eater
I was a farm girl who believed nutrition was just about willpower.
Then I had a huge awakening.
When I started truly nourishing my body, I noticed things changing fast:
💪 I felt strong and capable
🧠 My mind was so clear people thought I was “naturally disciplined”
⚡ My energy felt endless
🧪 My blood work actually improved
So of course… I went all in.
I researched and tried everything: Paleo. Keto. Vegetarian. Raw foods. Extended fasting. Intermittent fasting. Whole foods.
Paleo felt the best to me. Keto worked the fastest.
I dropped weight quickly from 183 to 159 in about 4 weeks.
But there was one big problem.
I still struggled with emotional eating.
I’d go to parties and eat past comfort. I thought about food constantly. It felt obsessive — almost addictive.
And no matter how “good” the diet was on paper, stress would eventually win. Hunger would hit. Energy would dip. And the cycle would repeat.
Here’s what I learned the hard way: 👉 Rapid weight loss doesn’t equal sustainable healing.
Cutting carbs works short term because of water loss and calorie reduction — but for someone with emotional eating patterns, it often backfires.
What finally changed everything wasn’t another diet.
It was learning how to: • eat in a way that keeps me full
• support my nervous system
• manage stress without using food
• plan for social situations without guilt
Today, emotional and binge eating no longer run my life. Food feels calm. Parties don’t feel scary. And weight loss feels steady, grounded, and sustainable.

🌿 Why Reiki Level 1 & 2 is so powerful (and who it’s really for) 🌿

There was a version of me that didn’t know this world existed.
I was grounded, hard-working, capable, and driven
but I hadn’t yet touched the deeper, quieter part of myself.
Receiving my Reiki Level 1 & 2 attunements didn’t just teach me a skill.
It opened something.
✨ My intuition strengthened
✨ My connection to myself deepened
✨ Spirituality shifted from something I believed in…
to something I experienced

It felt awakening. Familiar. Almost like remembering something ancient.

Since 2019, Kelly Tunney and I have been offering Reiki Level 1 & 2 Attunement Certifications in person and this March will be around our 20th in-person class at the Napoleon Central House 🤍

Most women think yoga is about flexibility.
But the women I work with aren’t struggling with tight hamstrings.
They’re struggling with:
• trusting their body
• listening instead of overriding
• resting without guilt
• slowing down without fear
• feeling instead of numbing
That’s not a flexibility problem.
That’s a nervous system problem.
Yoga becomes transformative when it stops being about “doing”
and starts being about feeling safe inside yourself.
This is especially true if you’re:
• healing your relationship with food
• learning to regulate emotions
• working through anxiety or overwhelm
• trying to break cycles of burnout
The women who finally try gentle yoga often tell me: “I didn’t realize how much I was holding.” “I didn’t know my body could feel like this.” “I feel calmer… clearer… less reactive.”
