Matt and Donna Griggs never planned on becoming foster parents. But after caring for their nieces for nearly a decade, a single conversation changed everything. It opened their eyes to the world of treatment foster care and set them on an incredible journey.

Since getting licensed through Pressley Ridge in 2021, they've welcomed 16 children into their home, offering love, stability, and a place to belong. Their story is a powerful reminder that sometimes, the most fulfilling paths are the ones we never expected to take. 💪

Our Story

Each year, Pressley Ridge helps thousands of children learn, grow and thrive through the support of a safe and nurturing foster home. And it all starts with one person deciding to be the difference for a child in need.

Our treatment foster care program exists to make sure children are safe and provided with a nurturing environment until they can return home or become adopted. Children range in age from babies to young adults who may have their own children. They have had difficult experiences in their life and removal from their home can be traumatic. Our treatment parents provide the love, care, skills and supervision to help them overcome these difficult experiences.

The Southwest Counties Treatment Foster Care program serves Fayette, Greene, Washington, Somerset, Armstrong, Indiana, Cambria and Westmoreland counties.
