Stay safe while having fun!

SCOOTER & E-BIKE SAFETY REMINDER

We’ve had an increase in concerns about unsafe riding on city streets — especially kids not stopping at signs or watching for traffic and pedestrians.

We get it… scooters and e-bikes are fun. But they also come with real risks when used around vehicles.

👉 Parents — this starts at home.
A quick conversation can make a big difference

✔️ Let’s talk about the basics:

Stop at stop signs & intersections
Watch for cars at ALL times
Wear a helmet
Stay alert — no headphones or distractions
Be visible if riding in the evening
⚠️ A big one we need help with:
Avoid busy streets.
Use side streets and, if necessary, alleys.

🚫 Sidewalks are NOT permitted for scooters or bikes — they create safety issues for pedestrians.
