🎄✨ Holiday Cheer in OT! ✨🎄

This season, our pediatric outpatient OT sessions have been full of creativity and joy! From painting festive masterpieces, to stringing beads for fine motor fun, to decorating Christmas trees, our kids have been busy building skills while celebrating the holidays. 🎨🧵🌟

These activities support:
• Fine motor strength and coordination
• Visual-motor integration
• Attention, creativity, and confidence
• Following directions and completing projects

Most importantly, they bring smiles, laughter, and holiday magic to every session.

💙 Thank you to our amazing clients and families for trusting us, showing up each week, and being part of our OT family. We are so grateful for you and so proud of all the progress your children have made this year.

✨ Exciting News! ✨ Please help us welcome Callie, our newest member of Toman Therapeutic Services! Callie has a strong background in working with children and is passionate about helping kids grow and thrive. We’re so excited for the families in our practice to get to know her!

Hi, my name is Callie Norman, and I’m an Occupational Therapy Assistant here at Toman Therapeutic Services. I earned my Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistance from the Community College of Allegheny County in 2020. I bring over 5 years of experience working in a school-based setting, where I supported students in developing the skills they needed to succeed in learning, play, and daily routines. That experience has helped shape my passion for empowering children to reach their fullest potential through meaningful and engaging therapy while helping children grow with confidence and independence.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the COTA Representative for District II of the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA) and am the new Second Co-Chair for the Children & Youth Special Interest Section (SIS). These roles allow me to advocate for the occupational therapy profession, stay connected with current best practices, and bring fresh, evidence-based strategies and resources into my work with children and families.
Here at Toman Therapeutic Services, I plan to collaborate closely with Megan, families, and caregivers to create individualized sessions that are both fun and goal driven. My goal is to make therapy a positive, encouraging experience where every child feels supported, successful, and celebrated.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and can usually be found with a good cup of coffee in hand. I love being outdoors and often visit local parks with my energetic 5-year-old German Shepherd mix, Roo!
