Depression can look different for everyone, but some common signs include:

✔️ Loss of interest in things you once enjoyed

We are excited to introduce Casandra, a licensed and certified therapist with a true heart for serving individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges—especially within our rural communities.

"Hello, I’m Casandra, a licensed and certified therapist with a heart for serving individuals and families experiencing the impacts of substance use and mental health in rural communities. I specialize in supporting people through challenges such as problem-solving, substance abuse, symptom management, moral injury, interpersonal skills and I understand how unique—and sometimes isolating—life in smaller towns and rural Kentucky can be. My approach to therapy is warm, down-to-earth, and practical. I blend evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused therapy, MI with a genuine approach to you and your story. Whether we’re talking about major life changes, past experiences or everyday stress, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard—without judgment.
Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me in the garden, crafting, taking photos, listening to podcasts, chasing some chickens or volunteering in the recovery community. I believe laughter, nature, and a nap can be powerful forms of self-care, too."
