Christina was chosen from a nationwide pool to be part of the incoming team of student administrators for the Instagram page .
The team consists of students from The University of Texas - Austin, the University of Illinois - Chicago, Seton Hill University, and Utah State University.

The page is managed by Barbara J. Mayfield, MS, RDN, FAND, a nationally recognized expert and leading authority in nutrition science and communications.
Barb is the President of Nutrition Communicator, LLC, and specializes in leading other nutrition professionals to create and deliver compelling messages that are evidence-based, meaningful, memorable, and motivating.

Under the direction of Professor Doreen Tracy, the Health Promotion and Nutrition Education class designed nutrition education newsletters for the Westmoreland County Food Bank.
The newsletters focused on creative ways to use commodity foods.

A few of our Integrated Master’s students participated in the University’ Interdisciplinary Education workshop on Saturday. This workshop enhanced their critical thinking skills, collaboration and problem solving. A great way to gain a deeper understanding of complex issues.
