MECHANIC / SHOP FOREMAN POSITION READY TO BE FILLED IMMEDIATELY

This individual will be responsible for leading the efforts of our mechanical maintenance and repair program. We’re looking for a well-trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in his or her work and can perform various duties as required throughout the day such as:

- Perform routine automotive and heavy equipment maintenance tasks per manufacturer instructions
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry specific best practices in equipment repair
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Perform DOT inspections on all registered equipment
- Conduct repairs with maximum efficiency in terms of time and money
- Conduct repairs and maintenance in the field, as well as in the shop
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for our records
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
- Create, communicate, and maintain a proactive preventive maintenance program for all equipment that limits downtime
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required:
3 years of on the job experience
Valid Driver’s License
Have basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Reliable Transportation
Good Communication Skills

Preferred:
Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience.
CDL
