* Therapy for Black Girls: Founded by Dr. Joy Harden Bradford in 2014. Their mission is to destigmatize therapy for Black women and girls through a podcast, blog, and therapist directory; addresses unique challenges of racism and sexism; as of 2019, the podcast had over 2 million downloads. * The Loveland Foundation: Founded by Rachel Cargle in 2018. The Loveland Foundation was created to make therapy and healing resources accessible to Black women and nonbinary individuals. It continues to grow through programs like the Therapy Fund, fellowships, and listening tours-centered on empowerment, opportunity, and generational healing. Check out thelovelandfoundation.org.
* The Okra Project: Founded in 2018, The Okra Project’s mission is to provide free, home-cooked, culturally relevant meals to Black Trans people, primarily by hiring Black Trans chefs. Their work has expanded to include wellness, food security, and mental health programs that affirm the dignity and joy of Black Trans life. * Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective (BEAM): Founded in 2015 by Yolo Akili Robinson BEAM was founded in 2015 to address systemic barriers to mental health care in Black communities.

* Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi): Founded in 1968 ABPsi was founded to challenge racism in psychology, increase Black representation in the field, and center the mental health needs of Black communities.
