On Wednesdays we wear PINK 💕 This Wednesday it is in honor of one of our own, Ms. Jeanette! When she was just 40 years old, she woke up one Sunday afternoon after church and found something concerning. After a doctors appointment, her worst fears came true and she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She recalls the overwhelming emotions she had in the doctors office and began to wonder what she was going to do. She heard the voice of the Lord tell her “I am in control.” She found peace in the Lord and although she was scared, she says that “When God is in place, He will take care of you!” And that He did! She diligently followed her doctors directions, underwent surgery to remove the cancer, and has kept up with all of her follow ups. She has been cancer free and in remission since surgery for 25 years!!! Praise the Lord!! We are so blessed to be a part of her journey and want to honor her this month.
