This. Worthy of thoughtful consideration. Let’s instead provide our children healthy and beautiful outlets to discipline and strengthen their minds and bodies while expressing the beauty of their souls through the gift and art of movement!

Breastfeeding.
Formula feeding.
Combo feeding.
Exclusive pumping.
Breastfeeding a toddler.
Tube feeding.
Donor milk feeding.
TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition).

All babies need different things, and all families need support in reaching their own personal feeding goals.
•
If you’re struggling in your milk feeding journey, please seek help. Talk to your provider. There are professionals and support groups and people out there who want to help you.

However your journey goes...know that you’re making the best decisions for your child, and nobody can judge that.
•
➡️➡️ Supporting another family in making their best decision does not negate your decision or experience. It doesn’t take away from the benefits of the method you chose (or that which was chosen for you). It simply means that we are different. Yes, we need more breastfeeding normalization and education and support...much more support. Yes, breastfeeding can be a beautiful and wonderful thing for many people...and so can formula feeding, tube feeding, combo feeding....We need more love, less judgment.
•
Maybe one day this image can be expanded upon to represent even more feeding modalities, more diversity, more ways in which we are different but still want the same thing: thriving, happy babies.

If we approach each other with understanding and respect as parents, maybe we’ll find that we’re not so different after all ❤️

Just delivered this token of appreciation for the first responders at Wade Hampton Fire Station across the street from our office. We hope we never need them, but we’re grateful they are always ready to act at a moment’s notice!

We hope you are able to make some special memories with your loved ones this season as we remember the event that changed the course of human history and still changes lives today.
