For the next four Sundays, our Move & Meditate classes will guide you through the process of building habits with intention and ease. Each week, we’ll explore a different theme, blending movement and meditation to deepen your practice.

This series will help you find flow, presence, and trust in your daily habits. Join us Sundays at 9:30 at Unity Flow Yoga Studio.

Yoga is incredible for flexibility, mobility, and balance, but there are two areas that often get neglected in a typical class: pulling strength and hamstring resilience.

1️⃣ Nordic Curls → Build hamstring strength to support deep stretches, improve knee stability, and prevent injury. Strong hamstrings = better control in poses like Warrior III and Half Moon.

2️⃣ Rows → Most yoga poses involve pushing or stabilizing, but pulling motions are crucial for posture, shoulder health, and overall strength. Strengthening your back with rows can improve your Chaturanga form and help counteract forward-rounded shoulders from daily life.

Yoga + strength = the best of both worlds. Add these into your routine and feel the difference!

What happens when you shift your pelvis?

Movement is an exploration, not a destination. In this video, I’m showing both an anterior and posterior pelvic tilt in the same yoga posture.

Instead of thinking in terms of right vs. wrong, think in terms of intention.

✔️ A more anterior tilt might help deepen a stretch.
✔️ A more posterior tilt could offer more core stability.
✔️ Finding neutral can help with balance and control.

The key? Awareness. The more we understand how our body moves, the more we can move with confidence. Play around with your pelvis in different movements and see how it changes the way you feel!
