Today, I want to personally express my sincere gratitude to everyone who came together to care for our patients in the Emergency Department.

Thank you to our dedicated Emergency Department staff, administration, and ancillary teams who responded with urgency, professionalism, and compassion. I am also deeply appreciative of our law enforcement partners and investigators whose support was essential. To our patients, thank you for the trust you place in us during your most vulnerable moments.

I am profoundly thankful for the outcome today, and even more so for the remarkable team we have at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama.

Days like today remind us how fortunate our community is to have not only a hospital, but a hospital filled with individuals who are committed to serving others. People who demonstrate their care for this community by showing up without hesitation when they are needed most.

It is an honor to serve alongside each of you.
