✨Self-care doesn’t always have to be big, expensive, or time-consuming. Especially when you’re a busy parent working, or trying to find time to do it all, finding time for yourself can feel nearly impossible. But sometimes, care is found in the smallest moments — the ones that remind you to slow down and tend to yourself.

⭐️ It might look like washing your face and taking a few extra seconds to breathe.

⭐️ Eating something nourishing instead of skipping another meal. Drinking water before you pour another cup of coffee.

⭐️ Or simply pausing to ask yourself, “What is it that I need right now?” — and honoring even a small part of that.

These tiny moments can help quiet the noise, ease the sense of overwhelm, and slowly refill what burnout has drained.

Small steps matter. They add up. They’re how you begin to come back to yourself. 💛

Dealing with anxiety can be tough, exhausting, disappointing, and confusing, but incorporating these effective coping skills can be a game-changer for you:

1. 🌟 Getting some sunshine not only lifts your mood but also helps you feel more grounded and connected to the world around you.

2. 💬 Talking to a trusted friend or loved one provides invaluable support and perspective, reminding you that you’re not alone in this journey.

3. 🎨 Engaging in a hobby, whether it’s painting, cooking, or gardening, gives you a sense of purpose and fulfillment, taking your mind off worries and into a state of flow.

4. 🧘‍♂️ When things get overwhelming, try mindfulness practices like deep breathing exercises to center yourself and find inner peace.

5. 📝 Writing in a journal can be incredibly therapeutic, allowing you to express your thoughts and feelings freely, without judgment.

6. ❄️ And believe it or not, holding an ice cube or taking a cold shower might sound unconventional, but it’s a quick and effective way to snap out of a spiral and bring you back to the present moment with its sharp sensations. Speaking kindly and compassionately to ourselves can fuel confidence and growth. Think like giving yourself a small pep talk every day!⭐️

Remember, the way we talk to ourselves sets the tone for how we navigate the world 🌎

Self-talk tips:
1️⃣ treat yourself with the same compassion and kindness that you would extend to a friend🌸

2️⃣ positive affirmations can feel so cheesy, but create your own positive affirmations that feel real to you! For example, rather than “I am strong”, changing it to “I am fully capable in completing challenging tasks and moving through difficult situations”.🌟

3️⃣ challenge your negative thoughts! what evidence do you have that supports your thought? what evidence goes against your thought?💥
