ABOUT THE DOCTORS
Dr. Terzella completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson, JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute and then a Fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine (with a focus on interventional spine procedures, peripheral joint procedures, regenerative techniques, and pain management) in Arizona but that was not enough. After many years of private practice in a multi-specialty group, he decided to join Piedmont Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, PA because he wants to help alleviate pain, weakness, and numbness for his patients and didn’t want to be stuck in a box. He is dedicated to offering patient-centered care in a shared decision-making model that offers proven results.
Dr. Schwartz has board certifications in physical medicine and rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine, pain management, thermology, and orthopedic medicine. He has worked internationally as an instructor, guest professor, lecturer, researcher and medical director for many organizations and has written numerous articles and chapters covering a variety of healthcare topics in a wide range of journals and publications. Together, these two doctors bring to the table a genuine desire to diagnose and help you with your pain by utilizing state of the art thermography equipment paired with an innovative, empathetic, and holistic approach.
