🚨 Quick heads-up, South Carolina family 🚨
Measles is spreading here in SC right now, and we have MORE cases than anywhere is the US.
This isn’t about politics or opinions — it’s just about keeping yourself and your loved ones safe.
Measles spreads through the air, just like a cold, but it can make people really sick — especially babies, older adults, and people with weak immune systems.
The good news is, it’s preventable with the MMR vaccine.
✔ If you’re not sure you or your kids had it — ask your doctor.
✔ If you’re feeling sick with fever + rash — stay home and get checked.
✔ If you work with seniors, kids, or the public — please be extra careful.
Let’s just use some common sense and protect our community. 💉🛡

Me: What you’re actually hiring me for is to be your advocate, your eyes and ears, your health coach, your confidant. There is more to a nurse than just walking the halls of a hospital, passing meds and starting IVs, (we do that and so much more).

Hiring a nurse can drastically reduce your risk for unnecessary ER visits, hospitalizations, & preventable complications. Sometimes you may require a change of plans or a new goal, and I'll be there to direct you.

The U.S. eliminated measles in 2000, but rising cases are putting that status at risk. Over 1,600 infections have been confirmed this year, and experts say the true number may be higher. This week, an expert commission is meeting to review the latest measles data in the Americas. Canada is expected to be a top focus, with ongoing outbreaks since October 2024, while the U.S. and Mexico have outbreaks that began in January and February of 2025.
