We are so excited to add Occupational Therapist Miranda Kelly, to the Magnolia Therapy team! 🎉

Meet Miranda:

I am an Occupational Therapist with 3 years of experience, specializing in pediatrics. I love helping kids build confidence and independence through play-based therapy. Whether we’re working on fine motor skills, sensory processing, or daily routines, my goal is always to make therapy fun and functional for both kids and their families. Outside the clinic, I love spending time with my family and my husband, Casey, along with our two sweet dogs, Millie and Amos!

Please help us in welcoming Miranda to our family! 💛

🇺🇸🧨4TH OF JULY LANGUAGE IDEAS🧨🇺🇸

✨ Holidays provide SO many opportunities to enhance your child’s language skills and increase their vocabulary! Encourage them to get outside and learn more about Independence Day.

🔴 Scavenger hunts and I Spy games are interactive and get kids moving! These games can enhance vocabulary and can target spatial concepts and prepositions (in, on, by, under, etc).

⚪️ This or That games start conversations about children’s likes and dislikes. They can lead to comparing/contrasting and describing similarities and differences among objects.

🔵 Category activities help kiddos group items based on characteristics; these skills are important when helping us organize our thoughts, describe items to others, and more! For younger kids, try grouping items based on color (red, white, and blue) or patterns (stars and stripes).

🎇 Try out these games and ideas with your little ones and let us know which game they liked best!
