Our first Business at the Table Lunch & Learn was February 25th!

Attendees learned about the ENC WIN Apprenticeship Hub, an initiative designed to help employers “grow their own” workforce through registered apprenticeship programs. Patrick Jacques from the Rivers East Workforce Development Board walked through how ENC WIN works directly with businesses to transform existing job roles into structured apprenticeship opportunities, while also helping connect employers with workforce funding tools like On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Incumbent Worker Training (IWT). Rachel Davis from Advance Mechanical spoke about the Tradesformers program and how partnerships amongst businesses can form incredible initiatives.

It was an informative discussion about how businesses can utilize funding through Rivers East to strengthen hiring, improve retention, and build long-term career pathways across a variety of industries.
