Today marks 1000 days since I dumped what I thought was my best friend! Has it been easy? At times NO! Has it been rewarding? A giant YES! For all of my friends and followers I want you to know that it is worth it to put yourself first, to love yourself more, and to be present at all times. You see that’s how alcohol tricks you. You think you are fully present but in the morning when your head is pounding and you want a greasy cheeseburger you loose time being your authentic self because you are foggy from the night before that you can’t remember. Recently I had a friend say I am never going to stop drinking because I love it so much. So you love alcohol more than you love yourself? So did I! And what a du***ss I was thinking exactly like my friend. Life is so much better being present every hour of the day. No hangovers, no regrets, no memory loss, and so much more. Being fully present in your life is not an easy task for some because they really don’t love themselves enough to even want to see the light. So I chose ME and dumped my sh*tty lying boyfriend the bottle! And man life has never been better! Good things come my way now, I am happy with zero anxiety, I am more giving with myself to others and the list goes on. I haven’t posted in a while but I am back stronger and ready to help anyone who needs it. I am will always be here for you! I can’t wait to celebrate your next milestone with you! Rock on one day at a time!

So true. As I sat in the Doctors office, people were complaining about the wait time, except this beautiful 83 yr. Old Lady with long dreads. I was immediately curious about her and she stated talking and I put my phone in my purse and decided to listen to her story. It was very a interesting and encouraging conversation on how to live to be her age. Some tips were, have patience, be kind, treat others well….and it just kept going. I was in awe at this point so I just let her talk about her journey on this earth. Patience is something that I have always had so we clicked for sure. You just never know who you might meet that gives you that warm glow. We hugged and blessed each other and said until we meet again. “There, that’s it. That’s why you’re here.” 🥰
