What drew you to a career in healthcare?
What drew me to a career in healthcare was my experience serving as a firefighter in the U.S. Air Force and later as a civilian firefighter/EMT. Responding to emergency calls—particularly at senior care centers—was both deeply rewarding and, at times, concerning. I built meaningful connections with patients during some of their most vulnerable moments, which left a lasting impression on me. Those experiences reinforced my desire to advocate for seniors and ensure they receive compassionate, high-quality care that supports comfort, dignity, and healing.
What makes working at PACS so special?
What makes working at PACS special is the strong support we receive from our regional and corporate partners, which allows our facilities to operate effectively and focus on delivering quality care. I also value PACS’s commitment to culture. Being part of an organization that upholds strong moral values and genuinely recognizes the hard work of its employees is meaningful. What makes it even more special is the future ahead. PACS is positioned for continued growth and improvement, giving us the opportunity to consistently deliver better outcomes and a higher quality of life for our residents.
What’s your favorite part of coming to work each day?
The favorite part of coming to work is interacting with the residents and seeing the improvements made each day.
Which of our values do you think is most important to your day-to-day work?
I selected the core value of Love because it is the foundation that encompasses all the other values. My faith teaches that love is at the center of all we do, and when we lead with genuine, unconditional love for our residents and staff, the other values naturally follow.
