Join us for the 18th Annual Run4Life 5K & Family Fun Run, presented by the Halter Family on Saturday, November 1, 2025. This family-friendly event raises funds for cancer research and supports cancer patients in our community.

Our Pediatric And Neonatal Dedicated Ambulance (PANDA) team members are dedicated to providing essential care for our smallest patients and we are grateful for them!

Prisma Health PANDA (Pediatric And Neonatal Dedicated Ambulance) team members, Cheryl Prevette and Jackson Gentry, flew a critically ill NICU patient this weekend and utilized a brand-new lifesaving tool, the TXP-2D high-frequency ventilator, that had just been placed in service. We operate only one of two dedicated pediatric transport teams in South Carolina.

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the Hogs For The Cause Pediatric Hematology Oncology unit at Prisma Health Children's Hospital - Upstate.
Patients will move onto the unit mid-August, but we were fortunate to celebrate with our amazing donors yesterday.

An exciting announcement from the Prisma Health Transplant Center!

The Prisma Health Transplant Center announces an expansion of service in Greenville to bring a new option to South Carolina patients who may be candidates for liver transplant. Patients who otherwise would need to travel hours to transplant centers in the region will now be able to receive care much closer to home. The Prisma Health liver transplant program has already completed its first liver transplant procedure and has listed more candidates who may begin their liver transplant journey soon.

Dr. Derek DuBay, nationally recognized transplant surgeon and liver transplant program leader, said, “I’m privileged to be part of a team dedicated to expanding access to liver transplant services in this region so more patients can find the hope and expertise they need closer to home. Our specialists guide and encourage patients facing a scary diagnosis in their journey toward becoming a transplant recipient. Helping each patient achieve a successful outcome resulting in longer and improved quality of life is what inspires us every day.”

The Prisma Health Transplant Center at Greenville Memorial Hospital is led by physicians with a combined 45 years of experience caring for liver transplant patients and is one of only 256 transplant centers nationwide. It is one of only three centers in all of South Carolina. This expansion reflects our commitment to delivering nationally recognized transplant services closer to where patients live.
