Honoring the fathers who carry invisible scars of love and loss.

The grief of my spouse after a miscarriage is something I’ll never forget.
He stayed strong so I could fall apart.
He held me when I cried, he reminded me to eat, he picked up the pieces I couldn’t carry.

But what most people don’t see is that while he was being my rock,
he was silently crumbling too.
He was grieving the same baby I was grieving.
He just didn’t feel like he had permission to fall apart.

Society doesn’t talk enough about the fathers who lose too.
The ones who smile through the pain to keep their partner afloat.
The ones who grieve in the quiet because the world doesn’t ask how they’re doing.

I’ll never forget the way he carried his grief in silence,
because he thought he had to be strong for me.
But miscarriage doesn’t just break a mother’s heart.
it breaks a father’s too.

To the men who’ve lost and stayed quiet:
your grief is real.
your love is seen.
and your heartbreak matters too. 💔
