🚑❄️ The winter weather may be slowing us down, but Spirit EMS crews are still out on the road this morning—transporting patients safely to Cincinnati, Columbus, and Toledo. We’re seeing plenty of slide-offs and accidents out there, so please drive carefully, give yourself extra time, and remember to turn your headlights on. Stay safe, everyone! 💙

A heartfelt thank-you to Senator Jon Husted for taking the time today to meet with Ohio’s Star of Life recipients in his Washington, D.C. office. Senator Husted offered warm congratulations to all honorees—including Spirit’s own Captain Will Gardam and CDST Director Sarah Stump—and spoke passionately about his support for the private ambulance industry.

It speaks volumes in today’s political climate that he was willing to hear these first-hand stories of service and sacrifice. We especially appreciated his personal connection to Greenville, Ohio—recalling fond memories of our county fair and his many visits over the years.

Our congratulations also extend to Star of Life awardees from Community Care and Superior Ambulance, among the 147 recipients from 33 states gathered this week in Washington to be recognized for their outstanding contributions to the communities they serve.
