"Dr. Gonzalez has served as an attending physician since July 2022. He started as a Geriatrics Fellow in 2021. Then became an attending physician in August 2022. In 2023, he became
Cypress Glen's Medical Director.

When asked why he chose geriatrics, Dr. Gonzalez says..."I became Cypress Glen's Medical Director to improve quality of care for the residents and advocate for their needs. Each person is a world with their own stories, achievement and losses that makes them unique. Observing this when stepping into their room or talking with them makes me happy. Assisting in achieving quality of life while respecting their autonomy helps me see there is beauty in getting older." 👨‍⚕️

We welcome you to experience the engagement and warmth at Cypress Glen where smiling faces greet you and staff know you by name.

Cypress Glen is the only Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), allowing residents to age in place, in Greenville, North Carolina. With on-campus healthcare guaranteed to all residents, there is never a worry of later having to relocate to receive optimal health care. Residents move in while actively independent with the security of access to assisted living, rehabilitation, memory care, and long-term care all on-site.

Cypress Glen doesn't offer the traditional healthcare that your grandparents may have experienced. There isn't a set method for every resident. Instead, we believe that everyone deserves a customized approach to fit with ever-changing desires and needs. At Cypress Glen, we're re-defining health care to suit every lifestyle.

Situated on more than 95 acres, you wouldn’t feel that our peaceful community is among a bustling city just outside our neighborhood gates.
