Our therapists specialize in sensory integration therapy, sensory-based and oral motor feeding disorders, handwriting, Interactive Metronome and Therapeutic Listening treatment modalities.

Today we’re reflecting on how grateful we are for the families we serve, the children and adults we get to walk alongside, and the meaningful work we’re able to do together. Your trust, encouragement, and partnership mean more than you know!

🎁✨ Holiday Sensory Bin Hack Every Parent Needs! ✨🎁
POV: You need 5 minutes of peace… and your kid needs holiday magic. Enter the Holiday Sensory Bin 😍👇

🌟 What to toss in (on a budget!):
Colored rice or pasta, mini trees, cotton balls (“snow”), jingle bells, leftover ornaments, pinecones from the yard, cups, scoops, tongs — all things you can snag on a budget or find laying around your house!

🙌 Why OTs & Speech Therapists LOVE this:
🖐 Fine Motor Boost (OT) – scooping, pouring & pinching strengthen little hands
🧠 Sensory Regulation (OT) – calming textures + festive sounds help kids stay grounded during busy holiday days
💬 Language Explosion (ST) – naming objects, describing textures, asking for help, and storytelling build vocabulary, speech sounds & overall communication
🤝 Social Skills (ST/OT) – turn-taking, sharing, and pretend play build confidence

We loved gathering with our Greenville and Morehead City teams this week for our Thankful Lunches 🍁🤍

Sharing a meal together always reminds us of the bigger purpose behind what we do. 🙌 Every clinician, support team member, and leader brings a heart for service that reflects so much love, compassion, and care! We truly believe we are called to this work, and we’re grateful for the people God places here to carry it out.

Carolina Therapy Connection is a pediatric practice serving children birth through adolescence all over Eastern North Carolina. Our team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Educational Specialists. Our therapists are just one part of your child’s team; parents, teachers, and other caregivers also play vital roles in ensuring success.

As our team of specialists work to help your child reach their goals, you will begin to see remarkable changes in their skills and abilities. More importantly, you will see the happiness and confidence this brings to your child, and the peace of mind this brings to your family.

We offer a recently renovated and expanded, state-of-the-art clinic sensory clinic which provides an enhanced sensory experience to help your child develop the skills necessary to improve learning and development. Our sensory gym is the largest in Eastern North Carolina! Most importantly, at Carolina Therapy Connection we strive to make our clinic a safe and fun environment for children of all ages.
