We hope that you and your loved ones are fairing well in the aftermath of Helene. The New Life office has just had power and internet restored so we will be reopen starting tomorrow, Monday, 9/30 for all scheduled appointments. If you need to reschedule, please let us know ASAP.

In addition, if you or a loved one needs to get out of the house to charge devices, get on wifi or just relax a while in the air conditioning, we will have a designated space in the office for you to relax (even if you don't have an appointment)! Stop by anytime between 930am and 6pm this week (Friday until 1pm). Again, we wish you and your loved ones well as we all work together to recover from this storm.

🎃 Eat a meal of healthy fats and protein before you go out
👻 Set a limit on how much candy you will eat (if any)
🕷️ Wear a fitness tracker to make sure you get in enough activity
💀 Setup a trade in system for the kids or grandkids to reduce their consumption (for example, offer to buy back half their candy for $20... but don't eat it yourself!)
⚰️ Donate leftover candy
🕸️ Get back on track TOMORROW with a plan for success!

📣 Attention all tea lovers! ☕️ We have a serious situation unfolding at the airport, and it's not for the faint of heart (or the sweet-toothed). Brace yourselves, folks - there are NO unsweet tea options available! 😱 We repeat, NO unsweet tea! It's a sugary catastrophe!

If you're like us and prefer your tea without enough sugar to send W***y Wonka into a hyperglycemic coma, then we feel your pain. The only choices you'll find are "sweet" and "extra sweet," aka diabetes and severe diabetes. 🚨 And as if that wasn't enough, they come with a side order of preventable amputation. Yikes!

But fear not, dear friends! We advocate for functional medicine and food as medicine, so we won't let this bitter brew ruin our day. Instead, let's use this opportunity to spread awareness about the importance of mindful beverage choices. 💚
