What does this involve?

GOALS
We start by assessing your goals, things you’ve tried in the past, what is your current situation and where do you want your health journey to go.

PLAN
Once we know where you want to go, I’ll help you develop a plan to get there!

PROGRESS & PROCESS
Each week we’ll have a progress and check-in to see how things are going, and make any adjustments needed to your food intake, calories or macros.

ACCOUNTABILITY
I’m your coach, so if you’re having a bad day, week or month, thats ok! I’m here to help you, guide you and support you. This is NOT MEANT TO BE PERFECT, but rather a daily process that we go through together.

LIFE CHANGE
This is not a quick fix diet! HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean you won’t see quick results! We can set goals that help you lose weight quickly, but again, this is a life long set of skills I’m giving you vs. a quick fad diet.

What’s your why?

Why am I asking you that? Why is it important? Cause your why drives most of what you do.

My why is my family. Being around for my grandkids, not being on medication just to function when I’m old. My why is being physically and mentally around as long as possible.

So, why do YOU want to be healthy? What does that look like for you? Weight loss? Feeing better? Weight gain? It’s different for all of us. Our “WHY” is too. ask yourself why you want to make a change, why you need to and find a reason to take that next step.

How’d you sleep last night?

Common question we hear a lot. People focus a lot on weight loss or body composition by eating right and working out as the two big things to achieve their goals.

Have you thought about how well you recover as a factor? Let’s take a look at 3 things that can affect your goals besides food and exercise.

1. Sleep. Sleep? Yep. If you’re not well rested your body doesn’t recover well. Not only will you be more sluggish physically and mentally, but your body won’t process things the way it’s meant to internally. Keep in mind everyone is different and sleep affects us all differently, but be sure you’re getting enough!
2. Environment. The people, places and things around you matter. Not just from a life standpoint but how it affects your health too. Is your pantry filled with junk food? Is your home loud and chaotic and filled with kids like mine? Do your friends judge you for not drinking alcohol? These are just a few examples of how your environment matters in your health journey.
3. Stress. We all knew this one was coming. And that stresses us out just thinking about it. Stress is a known killer. Figuratively and literally. I’m no doctor and I have no claims on that last part, but let’s be honest, it’s definitely a killer of your health, mood, and how well you achieve something. Stress is major factor in your health and not something to be taken lightly. Seek the help you need to manage your stress effectively.

These are simply 3 major factors that can affect your health among other things. While I’m no therapist, I’d love to chat with you about how you can achieve your goals! Let me know if I can help and let’s do this together!
