It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Nicki Hunt, Assistant City Clerk for the City of Greenville.
Nicki faithfully served our community for many years and was so much more than a dedicated public servant—she was a cherished member of our city family. Known for her warm smile, kind spirit, and joyful personality, Nicki brought light and laughter to City Hall each day. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside her and by the many residents she served with compassion and pride.
Nicki’s husband, Lieutenant Jared Hunt of the Greenville Police Department, has also devoted many years of service to our city. Our hearts are with him and their entire family during this unimaginable time.
To honor Nicki’s life and legacy, and to give our staff time to grieve and support one another, City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. We sincerely appreciate the community’s understanding during this time of great loss.
