I have a heart for those enduring hardships and losses including, but not limited to, death of a loved one, chronic and/or terminal illnesses, stressful relationships, retirement, changes in the family system, and role transitions. Therapy and counseling often carry a negative stigma, but I believe we all benefit from receiving counsel, support, and education on ways of coping and getting through the difficult times and trials in our life.
