I don’t ask you to do anything I typically haven’t done myself. Counting macros is not fun or easy for me but it can provide a wealth of info and really be a great tool to understand your nutrition goals. I typically recommend doing it for at least a week just to gain the information. However, if it is anxiety producing or you have a history of disordered eating, it may not be for you. Everyone’s situation and health journey is unique. If you need a guide navigating the waters, find my website in my bio. 🫡

Welcome to my little office corner. My first post appropriately pays homage to my one-of-a-kind dad, Dr. Robert Phipps. See that paper mache guy? He was in my dad’s podiatrist office when I was a kid. My dad was a go-getter to say the least. He had the deck stacked against him being an orphan, living in poverty, and experiencing the horrors of war but he went from being a barber, to enlisting in podiatry school at 32yo with 2 small children, and then to eventually building his own office and practice. He was very proud of his office. My dad use to preach, “ be your own boss, Myra”. I didn’t understand or appreciate this constant advice, but nevertheless it was his refrain. When I opened my business and moved into my office, I FaceTimed my mom and she got emotional. I knew exactly what she was thinking - dad would be beside himself with sheer excitement and joy. He was my constant cheerleader. He will always live in my heart but I have a little reminder now in my office. Thanks dad. ❤️
