We have been blessed to have worked with thousands of patients at Apogee throughout the years, and each patient brings their unique story.

One year ago, a mom of a potential patient gave us a call to ask if we worked with athletes who have experienced significant Traumatic Brain Injuries. We said yes ma’am, we’d love to work with your son. David was shocked how Colby presented when he first came in, and knew this would be a very long road. David was very forward with Colby saying that he could help guide him toward his goals, but it was going to take 100 percent effort from him in and out of the clinic to see significant progress

Colby looked at David square in the eye and said:

“Yessir, I’m ready for whatever it takes. I ain’t never backed down from a challenge and I ain’t gonna start now.”

The first clip is from a year ago, about 4 weeks into therapy. He had significant left sided tone and was unable to appropriately control left sided motions. The rest of the reel is how he is currently operating. Colby is strong, God is good, and he will be running in the Greenville Turkey Trot 5k on Thanksgiving day!!
