A beautiful night with GirlUp GVL—style, confidence, and community all in one place. It was inspiring to watch young women take the runway with strength and joy, and to celebrate an organization that continues to uplift and empower girls across Greenville. CCC therapists Sydney Bracken and Riley Hodge were so excited to see the girls shine. They work directly doing group and individual sessions with the girls as part of our GAP program.

Here’s a new way to get involved with Canterbury!! This year Canterbury is part of Hands on Greenville (HOG) Day with the expansion of our second location, St Giles Presbyterian Church. HOG day volunteers will be painting the interior and landscaping the Canterbury entrance at the new location. To make this happen, we want to ask you to help with donating supplies. Thanks in advance for your involvement!

YouthBASE, one of our community partners, has been diligently working towards using the Zones of Regulation as a framework to use as a common language for identifying feelings. As they learn feelings and group them in the colored categories, they have expounded on it to learn coping skills, or regulation tools, to help them when they are in different emotional categories. They artistically created their own toolbox for their regulation tools based on the emotion category as a quick reference. The students enjoyed getting to personalize and create their own creations!
