cardiovascular services, sleep services, telemedicine, surgery,
women’s health, obstetrics and wellness services. Serving its communities since 1922, it is an organization of
580 employees and volunteers, and a team of nearly 240
credentialed providers collaboratively providing medical and
specialty services in Darke County, Ohio. Wayne HealthCare includes the main hospital campus, Wayne
Surgeons, Western Ohio OBGYN , Wayne Primary Care and
Walk-In Care Services, Wayne HealthCare Pain Management

We were honored to bring together family, EMS partners, and local responders for a special Cardiac Save & Chain of Survival recognition event last week.

Thank you to the dedicated EMS personnel and community members who stepped in during a cardiac emergency and helped save a life. Moments like these remind us how critical quick action, teamwork, and preparedness are in emergencies .

It was meaningful to share this moment with the patient’s family and the first responders whose actions made a life-saving difference. We’re grateful for the collaboration and commitment of everyone involved.
