Yep, I'm going live! Making one of my healthy soups with Dr. George Matar on "Cooking with the Doc"

Tomorrow is the third Thursday which means it is health and wellness week! Join us at the Center or on FB live for Cook with the Doc, including special guests from I Am Well Darke County and the Wellness Beyond
Barriers group! We’ll be making a creamy chicken noodle soup with ingredients available in our food pantry!🍲❤️

Tickets are on sale for the Your Yard Is Habitat Conference!

Join Deeply Rooted Landscapes and Brukner Nature Center on Saturday, June 6, for a one-day conference focused on native plants, home landscapes, and the connections between people and wildlife. The day includes educational sessions, a guided tree walk, lunch, and vendors on site.

On Sunday, June 7, we will host a public plant sale from 12:30 - 4 pm at Brukner Nature Center. No ticket is required to attend on Sunday.

Whether you are a new gardener or have been growing for years, this weekend is designed to share practical, thoughtful ways to create habitat at home.

In 2025 we served more than 540 community members, provided 12 months of wellness programming, delivered 25+ wellness events, workshops, and outreach programs, expanded access to whole-person wellness education,
resilience tools, and supportive services.

We were the recipient of 4 grants!
